Using Skype On An Apple MacBook

Skype software can be used on an Apple MacBook very easily. Unlike numerous software, that run only on Windows Operating System, Skype has a special MacBook version released by the company, which is still in the beta or development mode. The latest version of Skype is 2.8, which enables video calling and voice chat.
The first thing to do while using the Skype on Apple MacBook is to download the Skype software compatible with Mac X operating system. By default, the Skype homepage will direct you to the Windows based application, but you need to search for the Mac Skype. However, if you think that, you do not require it on a daily basis; you can change the settings at any time. The Skype Settings will be under ‘Applications-Skype’ tab in MacBook. The integrated iSight Camera can also be used in your MacBook. Simply click on the Photo Booth option in the Application menu.
